San Antonio

San Antonio bound with the family last weekend. We had my older brother, my older sister, their families, our parents, and of course my little fam. We headed down to Austin to stay with my sister and her family for the night, then picked up and headed to San Antonio the next morning. Three cars, eight adults, two kids, two toddlers, one baby, and about a million suitcases.:) I have been visiting San Antonio for as long as I can remember. My family has quite the obsession with the Alamo and Mexican food. I know others think us Texans are crazy for loving our Texas history, but I have to admit, I love it too. We visited the Alamo on Thursday and had some mexican food for lunch.

Afterwards we took a long stroll on the riverwalk. We checked into the hotel that afternoon with a couple of sleep deprived toddlers who immediately went down for naps. We went to the market after that and enjoyed more Mexican food. Owen and his cousins found a stage that was not being used to run around and dance on.

The next day we went to Seaworld and enjoyed the shows. Owen really liked the two sesame street shows especially Elmo Rocks. Although he was not a fan of actually meeting any characters. Everyone lasted without too many issues/temper tantrums until around 7:15.  It was then clearly time to leave. We ordered some pizza and ate at the hotel that night. Busy and fun weekend overall. We may need to extend the weekend next year to spread things out a bit. Lesson learned.
